Gym Trainer - Sports and Recreation Centre

Do you have a passion for fitness? Are you highly motivated and committed to delivering quality customer service? Programmed are currently looking for Gym Trainers to join the team and work with a large recreational client, that hosts various activities for schools and groups.

If you enjoy a fast paced work environment, facilitating fitness programs with different groups of people and offering a high level of customer experience whilst ensuring safety is a priority – these roles are for you! To achieve the outcomes required by these roles, you must have experience in, or show willingness to develop the below skills;



Supervising gym clients



Inductions for new client’s



Leading group fitness classes



Health/Fitness assessments



Personal Training



Client services duties



Additional tasks as identified by supervising officers to meet the needs of the Venue.



Requires flexible availability from Monday - Friday, AM and PM shifts with weekend availability



Requires ability to work roughly 20-25 hours/week



What we are looking for:



Positive Paid Blue Card (not volunteer) or willingness to obtain prior to starting



Current First Aid and CPR Certificate



Certificate IV in Fitness or Exercise Science Degree



Current Fitness Australia registration (AUSRec) or willingness to renew if expired



Basic level of computer knowledge and skills



Current divers license (highly desirable)



Proven experience in similar roles



Demonstrated knowledge of customer service-related delivery outcomes



Availability for all operational hours



Safety conscious attitude



Ability to work individually and in a team
